A Very Good Day...

...ends with chocolate.  This Grand Epiceree's dark chocolate mousse is every bit as good as, and even better than, most desserts I've had in fine restaurants!  And only about $5 for two.  Much less expensive than a restaurant would charge.

And Chariots of Fire DVD.     Heaven.   (No pun intended.)

Mona Lisa

Well, who needs to see the Mona Lisa at the Louvre when she is smiling at them every morning from the bedroom?

Bon Appetit!

Quickly becoming my favorite breakfast/brunch here in Paris, whether out or at home in the apartment.

This is at home.  Cheese/onion quiche from Bon Marche's Grand Epiceree.

Treasures

Collecting Parisian treasures for my grandchildren.

Balconies of Paris

Such a variety.  And occasionally, you catch sight of someone actually out enjoying their balcony, watering flowers, or talking on their cell phone.  Had a great shot of a woman, early morning, talking on her phone while standing in the open doorway of hers, but before I could snap it, she spotted me and retreated.  But this woman watering her flowers is lovely on Blvd. St. Germain.

Le Jardins de Luxembourg

Visited the Luxembourg Gardens but only got a few shots with my camera (tiny, digital, not-very-good camera.)  So I've supplemented this post with web images.  Our weather this week has been rain on and off with sunshine some hours of the day and grey skies others.  The next few days are supposed to be precipitation-free (I'm hoping!)

The photo above and three below are through the gate we entered.
There is a running/walking path encircling the gardens.

Behold, the stellar web images and be sure to enlarge them!

(Back to my photos upon leaving and finding a local cafe for dinner.)

It's Linda who ordered the snails.

I'll stick to traditional French onion soup.
